Our Process
Our program includes 4 key remedies:
- Security- We utilize every tool available to provide multiple layers of protection.
- Investigations- Knowing everything that we can about the subject gives us critical details in managing threats.
- Legal- we make sure that our decisions are sound. We have attorneys available at a moment's notice to answer questions about employment law, terminations and other information to allow you to make decisions faster. Our Investigators have all of the tools necessary to file Police reports on your behalf as well as Temporary Protective Orders. We can also serve Court documents as a NV Licensed Process Server.
- Mental Health- By partnering with clinical professionals, we not only gain more valuable insight into the offender but we are able to provide your staff with Trauma Debrifing by certified experts.
How it works
- If your business receives a threat, immediately call us and we will begin taking active steps including sending Armed protection to your location initially. We put together a timeline of events so that we can take the necessary actions of filing police reports or additional Civil filings.
- We then furnish a full Threat Profile as well as a recommended course of action. The recommendations can cover general aspects or be quite detailed depending on the nature of the threat. We then file police reports and other documents on your behalf so you don't have to.
- We continue to monitor this campaign and adjust or modify as needed.
- Martin-Ross can work directly with Counsel to provide a full and tailored report including all aspects of the response, the filings and associated documentation.
- If locating or serving the subject is needed, our Investigators can do so.
For you it's simple; you just want the threat to go away. This is exactly why we do what we do.
FAQ's
Q: How long does it take?
A: WARNING! Dealing with Stalking and harassment can sometimes last years. It depends in most cases on the nature of the antagonist. There are many roads in this process. Some of these roads have to be taken at almost breakneck speed due to the actions of the offender. Other threats are generally isolated or brief in nature.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We charge for our time. The average Protection job for a week can be up to a few thousand dollars. Additional time for filing reports and legal documentation is set at a flat rate which will be discussed when you call.
Q: Are we provided a report?
A: Yes, you will receive several reports including the Threat Assessment, Investigation Timeline and Summary of Events. Each of these documents is furnished in Court-ready condition.
Q: Do we have to file Police reports or can Martin-Ross?
A: Martin-Ross can file police reports, Temporary Protective orders and other Civil process on behalf of our Clients which reduces the burden on them.
Q: How do you come up with the Threat Profile?
A: We use the WAVR-21 Threat Assessment program to analyze key aspects of subject behaviors and actions and compare that to previously compiled and profiled results from like offenders. This process is recognized more widely as an aspect of Criminal Profiling. The threat profile is part of this effort and is used to strategize and tactically plan a course(s) of action. WAVR-21 is an in-depth and comprehensive way of determining the Risk factor of workplace or campus threats.

A: Yes, Martin-Ross is a Licensed Nevada Private Investigator and Process Service Provider 1245,b,c. We maintain a staff of 5 Investigators.
Q: Are your people armed?
A: Yes, all of our Protection Specialists are armed.
Q:How are they trained?
A: Our Protection Specialists are trained in a variety of areas including Principal Protection, Movement Tactics , Close Quarters Protection, Advancing, Combat Medicine and other skills specific to this kind of work. This is not a Security Guard. Our people are trained using knowledge and training gained from Bob Oatman who literally wrote the book(s) on Executive Protection.
