Founded in 2003,

Founded in 2003 by retired Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputies, Lt. Joe Martin and Capt. Rich Ross, Martin-Ross is a company dedicated to serving the needs of communities, companies, and individuals throughout Nevada and beyond. Our staff of highly trained personnel has many years of experience in: Security, Surveillance Technology, Threat Management, Private Investigations, and Process Service.

Martin-Ross is also Northern Nevada’s leading provider of Physical and Electronic Security Services. With specialization in Static Armed and Unarmed Security, Patrol and Response Services, and Video Surveillance.

Co-Founder

Joseph E. Martin Ret. is the Co-Founder of Martin-Ross. He retired as a Lieutenant with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Reno, Nevada after 25 years. A Sheriff’s Office Medal of Honor recipient, his experience includes assignments as the Commander of SWAT and Security Services, Academy Commander, and various other positions. Joe is also a graduate of the Prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, an honor that extends only to a handful of individuals. He also served as the President of the Nevada chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates. He has trained extensively with the FBI and US Secret Service in Protection of Public Officials, Terrorism and Security. He is also a Veteran of the Air National Guard.

President and CEO

Jason is our President and CEO. He is the creative force behind what we do and why we do it. His expertise in technology, training, management and sales drives the company. Jason spent many years in the music industry before joining Martin-Ross in 2008.  A walk-around manager, he is active in almost every aspect of the company from training to development and employs teams in favor of managers.  J, as he’s known here works mad hours and can be found usually in his own command center writing plans and developing solutions.  He has crafted a comprehensive program called Unified Safety that he hopes will help shape the future of how security companies operate.  J is also the best person to speak to about advanced security technology.

Jennifer Patterson

CFO and Managing Partner

Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner. Jennifer has extensive experience in both owning and managing businesses. Such areas include media, manufacturing, and the food & beverage industry. She has been involved in all aspects of our operation to include finance, human resources, purchasing, sales, and development. Jennifer holds a degree in business from Foothill College in Los Altos, CA and attended the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith. While away from the office; Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Jason Norris

Sales Manager

Jason Norris was born in Reno and graduated from the University of Nevada and Sparks High School, Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. As a sales professional Jason has helped several businesses increase their market share by establishing high trust relationships with Clients. He sits on the Reno Finance Advisor Board and is the Finance Chair for Learning for Life/Exploring. Additionally, he holds/held professional State licenses in medicine, finance and real estate. He is an alumnus of Leadership Reno-Sparks, a member of Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network and an active Member of the Bridge Church. Jason enjoys raising his family in Northern Nevada and spending his free time outdoors.

Kevin Krencik

Unified Safety Manager

Kevin is our Unified Safety Manager and oversees all of our technical operations and surveillance projects. Kevin’s public safety career began with the NYPD before joining the United States Secret Service and retiring as a Physical Security Specialist after twenty-years. During his career with the Service, he worked within every complex environment imaginable including protection, advancing, physical and electronic surveillance and engaged in all aspects of safety and security from video and audio integration, hazmat and OSHA compliance and mechanical and structural systems. An engineer by heart, his knowledge and experience in the assessment and planning and management inside of critical operations brings amazing capability to Martin-Ross.

Operations Manager

Arlan is our Operations Manager, he has spent years in a virtual full-time capacity at Martin-Ross fulfilling every assignment of value. He started as an unarmed Static Specialist in 2016 and promoted through the ranks. He has been in the security and safety field for over 20 years. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoys car shows, climbing radio towers, working with communication systems. He is an active member in Washoe County Amateur Radio Emergency Services. He loves volunteering at local hospitals and working with the community.

Jillian Fallon

Scheduling Manager

With a varied background in both administration and emergency services dispatching, Jillian brings a wealth of knowledge from both spectrums to Martin Ross. As the manager of our scheduling team, Jillian is the brain behind coordinating staffing to meet all of our clients’ needs. Jillian is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Management. When she’s not hard at work crafting our staffing schedule, she enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors and riding her horse.

Administrative Manager

Marta is our resident Jack-of all-Trades and the primary face of our administrative team.  She brings a wealth of experience from the customer service and technical fields and has served Martin-Ross with the utmost in professionalism and discipline.  A recent college graduate, when not working, Marta enjoys time with her family and traveling the world and visiting new places.  She is often the first to contact you and brings key organization and efficiency to our team.
